The efficiency of the double needle is high, and the double thread is parallel and neat. All kinds of double-needle machines have a very troublesome problem, that is, the machine is unstable. The maintenance rate is high, especially after a few years of use, and many phase times are a bit messed up. Many machine repairers can't adjust it well.
First, we start with the needle post and feed dogs. First adjust the amount of cloth feeding (adjustment dial) to zero. When there is no cloth feeding, turn the flywheel so that the needle column is at the bottom dead point. Loosen the fastening screw of the horizontal feed rocker arm, and adjust the inner distance between the needle column and the presser foot rod to about 1.5mm. If it is not adjusted properly, it will cause skipping and broken needles. Note that the needle drop point of the feed tooth hole will change after adjustment, and the feed tooth should be adjusted to match. The cloth feeding time should be adjusted so that the engraving point of the horizontal cloth feeding cam coincides with the engraving point of the lower shaft. Do not misalign the horizontal feeding cam, otherwise it will make the rotation heavy! It is very important to make the needle enter along the center of the cloth feeding tooth hole, twin needle sewing, otherwise floating thread phenomenon will occur!
Misunderstanding 1: The general machine repairer will adjust the needle rod to match the cloth feeding tooth hole and the needle drop point is not in the middle of the cloth feeding tooth hole, especially when the hole is long! Then there is the matching time of the needle and the hook. The bottom dead center of the needle is adjusted according to the condition of the fabric to be sewn. When the machine needle rises 2.2mm from the bottom dead center (or see that the lower engraved line and the lower end surface of the needle cylinder cover are flat), move the hook shaft seat left and right, so that the distance between the needle and the tip of the hook is 0-0.05mm , the distance between the needle and the needle stopper is 0-0.07mm, and the center line of the needle is consistent with the hook tip. It depends on the actual situation to adjust the hook line time faster or slower. Turn the handwheel to make the withdrawal thread hook at the last position. Turn the inner hook in the opposite direction to the hook rotation direction so that the hook stopper and needle plate groove come into contact. Loosen the fixing screw of the thread withdrawal hook, so that the gap between the triangular block of the inner shuttle and the thread withdrawal hook is 0.2-0.3mm. If the gap is too large, the thread sleeve will become loose and the thread will be broken. If the gap is too small, it will cause damage to the retreat hook. Don't forget to adjust the gap between the top of the needle plate groove and the top of the shuttle stop to 0.8-1.0mm. Replace the backing plate on the hook shaft to change the height of the hook.
Misunderstanding 2: General machine repairers will raise the needle plate to adjust its clearance. Finally, it is the matching time of the upper shaft and the lower shaft, and the timing belt is removed from the toothed wheel. Turn the handwheel so that the engraved line on the handwheel is aligned with the engraved dot on the headstock. Turn the lower shaft so that there is a small hole on the machine base and the first screw of the toothed wheel of the lower shaft is aligned. Ensure that the positions of the upper shaft and the lower shaft do not move, and install the timing belt. If the time is wrong, the needle drop point of the cloth feeding tooth, the time of cloth feeding, and the change mechanism are stuck, etc.
